Dispelling the Myths of Open Access: Making Informed Choices about Open Access Publishing Opportunities Online
Are you considering publishing in an open access journal? This workshop will define characteristics of open access vs. traditional publishing venues; define ways to evaluate open access journal quality, including the identification of predatory journals; present tools available to find an appropriate journal in which to publish; and talk about WVU open access memberships and the WVU Open Access Author Fund and how they affect article processing charges for WVU authors.
