Opening the Classroom: The Benefits of Sharing Your Teaching Materials
While it is common to publicly share research and publications through online networks and repositories, the sharing of teaching materials is often limited to posting on personal websites or sending materials by email. In this workshop, you will learn about the benefits of publicly sharing your teaching materials online, including how doing so can help demonstrate your effectiveness and excellence as an teacher. You will also learn how to use Creative Commons licenses to allow others to reuse and build on your materials while maintaining their ownership and getting credit for creating them.
