Copyright Permissions: How to Ask and Who to Ask In-Person / Online

Understanding copyright permissions is essential for the ethical and legal use of scholarly works. This workshop will guide you through the process of republishing your journal articles in a book, using figures or images created by others, and incorporating external research data into your study. The session includes a presentation with real-world examples and practical strategies, focusing on how to approach copyright holders and craft effective permission requests. Participants will gain the knowledge and tools needed to confidently navigate copyright permissions for academic and professional projects.
