Intro to Qualitative Data Analysis Using QualCoder In-Person
No license? No problem! In this workshop, we will explore the free and open source qualitative research software, QualCoder. This no-cost tool can help qualitative researchers manage, transcribe, organize, code, analyze, and visualize field data to yield insights. Through hands-on work with sample texts, participants will learn to apply powerful features of QualCoder to a variety of source material—including text, image, and video files.
No prior knowledge of QualCoder is needed, though some familiarity with the qualitative research lifecycle is recommended. Installation of software will be guided during the first portion of the workshop.
Participants will need to bring a personal laptop to participate in the workshop.
