Tell Me More: Hope and Science In-Person
The WVU Humanities Center, in collaboration with a panel of WVU scientists present: Harnessing Hope: A Tool for Scientific Innovation and Public Engagement on March 10 at 4pm in Hodges 202.
Scientists are supposed to focus on the facts, right? Does this focus on the facts rule out hope? Is there a time or place for hope in good science? A panel of WVU scientists will share their ideas about how hope can drive, and be driven by, great science. How can we support scientists by helping them stay resilient and hopeful as scientists? How can we work together, as an academic community, in communicating realistic hope about science to the public?
Join the Humanities Center for Tell Me More: Hope and Science in Hodges Hall 202.
This event is free and open to the public. No registration is required, but is encouraged for planning purposes.
